The client’s family owns a few houses in the neighborhood (a compound, if you wish). As the family grew it was time for another house. They decided to sacrifice the family tennis court and build this home in it’s place. The home is located in the floodplain. So it was built on piers. All mechanicals are located above the floodplain elevation.
